Philip P. Dubyne, 54, of Russell, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Phil was born on April 17, 1964 in Sangerfield, NY, to Philip and Walentina (Bowkun) Dubyne. Phil attended Syracuse University for his undergraduate education.

He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1990 from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. On June 9th, 1990, he married Sue Dubyne in Mentor, Ohio. After a two-year residency in Marlborough, Massachusetts, he moved to Warren with his family in 1992.

Dr. Dubyne proudly served the Warren County and surrounding communities at Allegany Podiatry for 22 years and retired in 2014. Phil was very talented and had many hobbies. He was a master Taekwondo martial artist, receiving his 6th Dan blackbelt promotion in 2004.

He enjoyed spending many summers with his family boating on the Kinzua and almost every fall in the woods during hunting season. Following retirement, he pursued a new hobby raising Heritage breed cattle. In addition to his mother, Dr. Dubyne is survived by his wife; his two daughters, Lauren and Nicole; a sister, Lena (Alan) O’Brien; his mother-in-law, Janet Crabtree; and many extended family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is also survived by his loyal and loving companion, Marguerita. Dr. Dubyne is preceded in death by his father, and his maternal uncle, Paul Bowkun, and his father-in-law, Harley Crabtree. Friends and family will be received at the Russell United Methodist Church, on October 20, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. A memorial service will follow, with Rev.

Marcus Briggs, pastor, officiating.
