He is survived by his daughters: Ashley M. Mathis, and Abby Mathis both of Louisville, KY; his mother Marsha Chapman of New Washington; his father Michael A. Mathis, Sr. of Lexington, IN, and his sister Stephanie Fey of Lexington, IN. Services will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen.
