Michael Dale Lindley Sr., 64, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 22, 2019 in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services celebrating Mike’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Pastor Shannon Salzman officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Ridgeview Memorial Cemetery in McKinney.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, February 25, 2019. Serving as Pallbearers: Steve Lindley, Michael Lindley, Brice Cooper, Rodney Cooper, Lyle Lindley, Jacky Head, Tyler Koller, Kyle Lindley, John Lindley, Steven Ray Lindley, Shannon Dotson and John Dotson. Mike was born on July 11, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He is the son of the late Louis Dale and Emma Charvat Lindley. He was raised in Missouri and Phoenix, Arizona where he graduated from Maryvale High School. He attended a Tech School in Phoenix before moving to Irving, Texas to work as a line builder and later to Dallas where he was an electrician.

In 1985 he moved to Quinlan where he wanted to spend the rest of his life on his own land. He was also preceded in death by son Bo Head, brother Louis Lindley and grandparents Earl & Tempe Lindley. Mike married the former Miss Elizabeth Ann Sego on October 12, 2002.

He enjoyed fishing and water skiing on the lake as well as cookouts with family and friends. He was a kind man who helped others as often as he could. His interests were many including camping, watching TV, building things including antique cars.

He loved spending time with his family most of all. He is loved and will be missed by his wife Liz Lindley; sons Michael Lindley Jr. of Amarillo, Jacky Head of Quinan, Rodney & Amanda Cooper; daughter Lori Lindley Hite of Amarillo; brothers Steven & Diana Lindley of Cedar Creek, Robert Lindley of Henderson, NV, John & Christine Lindley of Birch Tree, MO, Lyle & Tracy Lindley of St. Joseph, MO; sister Linda & Todd Sturgeon of Van Buren, MO; grandchildren Ashley, Austin, Jordan, Magen, Hailey, Brice, Abbie, Dylan, Lilly, Kristian; great-granddaughter Brooklynn; and many other nephews, nieces and family members.
