Obituary for Michael Lee Hughes SPRINGTOWN – Michael L. Hughes, 59, loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 14, 1958 in Dallas, Texas.

Michael was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an Aircraft Mechanic at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics where he retired in Feb. 2017.

Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, loved his long horn cows, being in the woods, and loved being with his wife and grandchildren. He enjoyed working on his tractors, antique trucks and travel. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Maria del Rosario Hughes; children, Joshua M. Hughes, Arlyn A. Plumbee, Allan L. Plumbee, Jason L. Hughes, and Vanessa A. Hughes; grandchildren, Elyssa, Alisandra, Julie, Elijah, Ven, Jada, Madison, Ryland, and Preston; Parents, Robert G. and Vera Hughes; silbings, Steven L. Hughes, Anna M. Hoppes, Bobby M. Hughes, Brenda K. O’Conner, and Tom Hoppes.
