OBITUARY Michael Richard August 17, 1943 – December 12, 2018 Michael E. Richard, Sr., 75, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Morning Point Assisted Living. He retired as an engineer at Magnavox. Mr. Richard was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, a member of the Greeneville Moose Lodge, and a member of Knights of Columbus at Notre Dame.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Michael E. Richard Jr., and wife, Heather, of Granite Falls, North Carolina; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Joan and Larry Smith of Franklin, Tennessee, Cindie Riggs of Greenville, South Carolina, and Debra and Bryan Randolph of Greeneville; seven grandchildren: Bradley Richard and Natalia, Danielle Riggs, Joseph Johnson, Lauren Smith, Spencer Richard, Isabelle Richard, Thaddeus Richard; three great grandchildren: Lily Richard, Olivia Woodward, and Nora Riggs; one brother and sister-in-law: Ken and Carol Richard of Michigan; and two sisters and one brother-in-law: Christine Richard of Plano, Texas and Kim and David Noltemeyer of Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Floyd E. and Marie Richard of Louisville, Kentucky. The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Whitman officiating. Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Johnson, Spencer Richard, Bradley Richard, Mark Riggs, and Mike Jones. Honorary pallbearers are his many friends and staff at Morning Point Assisted Living and Dr. E. B. Smith.
