Mr. Michael Wade Cotton, age 62, of Tallapoosa passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. He was born in Douglasville on Thursday, April 26, 1956. Mr. Cotton was the son of the late, Judge Glaston Cotton and the late, Gussie Geneva (Morgan) Cotton.

Besides his parents, Mr. Cotton is preceded in death by one brother, Larry Eugene Cotton. Mr. Cotton worked for many years as a Welder. He enjoyed many hobbies, but especially enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his son, Kenny Cotton of Waco; one brother, Jerry Cotton of Villa Rica; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy Marie and William Slay of Temple, Patsy and Gerald Allgood of Temple and a number of other relatives. In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Cotton will be cremated. The family plans to hold a memorial at their residence at a later date.

Service information will be announced as soon as it is available. Messages of condolence can be made to the family by signing the online guestbook. Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple.
