Michael Wayne McKee of Madison, South Dakota, formerly of Ironton, MO passed away on February 22, 2019 at the age of 45 years, 5 months, 21 days. He was born September 1, 1973, a son of Mary Ann Turner and Joe Stroup, both whom survive. Also surviving Michael are three children; Rachael (Jimmy) Clark of Cadet, Kimberly (Grant) Watson of Irondale, and Justin McKee of Ironton, a grandmother Jean Stroup, one brother John Robert (Rebecca) Turner of Bismarck, one sister Megan Stroup of Park Hills, two grandchildren; Sam and Michael Politte, a niece Sophie Turner, a nephew Hank Turner, and many loving aunts, uncles,cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Michael is preceded in rest by his step father Robbie Turner, and grandparents Robert and Charlene McKee. He graduated high school in Crawfordsville, IN, attended Southeast Missouri University for two years, and was currently attending Dakota State University where he has been majoring in Cyber Security since 2017. While at Dakota State he was a member of the Computer Club and Defense Security Club.

When Michael was home visiting, he would attend Meadow Heights Church with his family. A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Pastor Josh Rainey will be officiating the services. Interment will be held in K of P Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Michael’s family.
