Obituary of Michael Iacona Michael Iacona, age 67, of Troy died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care, West End. Mr. Iacona was born April 29, 1951 at Southern Pines, NC the son of the late Gasper Iacona and Mary Louise Bowman. He served in the Navy during Vietnam war.

He later was employed as a Shipping Supervisor in the manufacturing industry. Mr. Iacona was a strong willed, loving husband who enjoyed being on the river. He loved to hunt and fish.

Mr. Iacona is survived by his wife: Rhonda, of Troy; one daughter: Michelle (Larry) Hoffman of Boston; sisters: Lynn (Tommy) Dawkins of Mt. Gilead, NC, Mary Ann (Jeff) Nichols of Ellerbe, NC and Cindy Iacona of Southern Pines, NC; brothers: Val (Jeanette) Iacona of Troy, NC and Gene Iacona of Mt. Gilead, NC.

He was predeceased by his parents and grandmother, Lucy Bowman. A Memorial service honoring Michael will be held at a later date. On-line condolences may be made at www.
