Obituary of Harvey Cornelison Harvey Elvin Cornelison, age 81, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home. Mr. Cornelison was born in Montgomery County, NC on July 5, 1936 to Theodore Elvin and Maie Ellen Davis Cornelison. He was employed in Research & Development in the textile industry for over 40 years.

In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Michael Hugh Cornelison. He is survived by his longtime companion, Azelda Duncan of Clemmons; daughters, Beverly Cornelison Barnes and Lauri Cornelison both of Asheboro; sons, Randy Cornelison and wife Laura, and Lance Cornelison all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Matt Cashatt and wife Jessica of Asheboro, Stephanie Cornelison of Alexandria, VA, Brian Cornelison, Dalton Cornelison, Michael Cornelison, and Sara Cornelison all of Asheboro; great granddaughter, Madison Cashatt of Asheboro; sister, Lois Davis of Concord; and brothers, Paul Cornelison and wife Carolyn of Salisbury, David Cornelison and wife Joyce of Asheboro, and Jerry Cornelison and wife Phyllis of Candor; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
