Michelle’s Obituary Michelle L. Brown, former Cozad resident, passed away October 20, 2018 at Cozad, Nebraska at the age of 45. Michelle was born March 2, 1973 in Iwakuni, Japan to Robert and Connie (Mills) Roenfeldt. She graduated from Miller South High School in Omaha, Nebraska.

Michelle was blessed with three children, Samantha, James and Russell. She worked at Time Saver in Cozad and was a manager and server at Nebraska Barn and Grill in Gothenburg. Michelle was an avid reader and loved to play computer games.

When she wasn’t busy working, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Donna Duncan; paternal grandparents, Russ and Edna Roenfeldt. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Connie Roenfeldt of Cozad; her daughter, Samantha Brown of Fall City, ID; two sons, James Brown of Childress, TX and Russell Brown of Cozad; fiancé, Shane Duis of Gothenburg; sisters, Kim (Jacie) Moore of Gothenburg and Valerie Hammond of Emporia, KS; 3 granddaughters, Jazmine, Annabelle and Madalynn; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Reier officiating. Cremation was chosen. Berryman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
