She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Bessemer, AL. Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilfred Goree and John Draper; her brothers, James, William and Eddie Storey.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Martha) Goree, Massey Goree, Joan (Bill) Coston and Woodie (Sharon) Goree; step children, Donna Hannah and Jimmy Hannah; her grandchildren, Chad (Jessica) Goree, John (Michelle) Goree, David Coston, Danielle (Drew) Hall, Jason Goree and Justin Goree; her step grandchildren, Whit (Cindy) Hannah and Breanne Pardue; her great grandchildren, Daegan Goree, Kaylee Hall, Hallie Hall, Addison Goree and Tucker Hall; step great grandchildren, Vincent, Jace, Abel, Chance and Colton; her brother, Alvis Storey. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Canaan Baptist Church, Bessemer, AL with funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with private family burial following at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Mantua, AL.
