Linda Nell Boyd July 26, 1945 – February 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Linda Nell Boyd, 73, of West Blocton, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Linda was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Linda dedicated her life to caring for others, especially Bobby.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother and a proud mawmaw to her grandchildren and extended grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby McKenzie; her parents, Earl and Belle McKenzie; her sister, Cathy Gardner and her brother-in-laws, JW Kornegay and Lonnie Lightsey. Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank Boyd; her daughter, Beverly (Chris) White; her special nieces, Amy (Chris) Smith and Amanda (Brad) Stuckey; her grandchildren, Danielle White and Haley White; her sisters, Joyce Kornegay and Sue Lightsey; her nephews, Lynn Kornegay and Steve Lightsey and her niece, Donna Smelcer.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Green Pond Presbyterian Cemetery. Bro. Roscoe Kornegay will be officiating.
