Obituary for Michelle Lee Wood Michelle Lee Wood – a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away March 5th, 2018 at the age of 58. With a passion for knowledge and education, she attended USC and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She later attended Weber State University and earned her Master’s in education.

She spent her life sharing her passion and worked as a biology teacher at Bonneville High School for 30 years until she retired in 2016. Michelle was one of the most intelligent, kind, and beautiful minded women anyone could ever know. She could easily mend the pain of anyone’s hardship and teach the world to be a better place.

The lives she touched are endless, and the spirts she lifted are strong. To the most amazing woman: your family, your friends, your students, and this world love you and will miss you more than anything. Survived by her husband of 24 years, Jason (50); her children BayLee (23), Jessie (22), and Jeremy (20); her parents Durwood and Karen Thomas; and her siblings Monique (Steve Chapman), and Mike (Teri Thomas).

We will be having an evening of remembrance for Michelle on Saturday, March 10th at 5:30pm at the Community United Methodist Church. 163 West 4800 South Washington Terrace, UT. On March 14th, we will be having a celebration of life at 5:30pm at the same location.
