Obituary for Mildred Ursala Souders Fort Collins–Ursula Mildred Souders, Mille, departed this life on April 6, 2018. She was born to Ann and William Rohde on November 5, 1914. She had 3 brothers and a sister, all deceased.

Mille attended St. Joseph Nursing School of DePaul University and graduated in 1935. She met her future husband, Wilson, at Billings Hospital where he was a patient. They married November 5, 1940.

Mille was an avid golfer winning numerous golf championships flights, including winning the championship at Pinehurst, NC. She enjoyed bridge groups, including duplicate bridge, gardening and was on the boards of Church, school and community organizations. She has lived in La Grange, IL.

Oak Brook, IL. , Pinehurst, NC, Southern Pines, NC, and the last 8 years in Fort Collins, CO. She was known for her wonderful smile, hugs, her delightful wit and her love for all people especially her family and caregivers.

(Take care and be good to yourself. ) She is survived by her son, Ronald J.Souders (Karen) of La Grange, Il. , Barbara F.Sneary (Floyd, deceased) of Crown Point, IN, and Susan G. Stark (John),of Fort Collins, CO, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Stuart St., Fort Collins, April 21 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mildred Ursala Souders please visit our Sympathy Store.
