Milton “Bud” Orcutt Jr., 77, of Urbana passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence. Cremation rites will be accorded at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, Urbana. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Local 601 Union Hall, 3301 N. Boardwalk Dr. in Champaign.

Bud was born on June 30, 1940 in Champaign to parents Milton Sr.and Zeva (Elliot) Orcutt. They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his siblings; Barbara Orcutt, Bonnie Burgin and Gerald Orcutt.

On March 8, 1964 Bud married Rita Loop in Chrisman, IL, she survives. Also surviving are his sons; Bradley Orcutt of Thomasboro, David (Laura) Orcutt of St. Joseph, Donald (Stephanie) Orcutt of Savoy and four grandchildren; Jared Orcutt, Joel Orcutt, Kambry (Lee) Austin and Collin Orcutt. Bud graduated from Urbana High School before receiving his electrician certification.

He was employed as an Electrician for the Local 601 for over fifty years. He was a lifetime member of the CU Elks Lodge # 2497. Bud enjoyed bowling but most of all he was an avid golfer.

He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events and was also a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Bud’s family would like to send a special thank-you to the Transitions Hospice nurses; Maggie, Mandi, Kayla, Aaron and Amy.

They would also like to thank Dr. Ingrid Antonsen. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Transitions Hospice or to the St. Joseph Stanton Fire Dept.
