Milton Sage, 80, of Russellville, went home on Sunday, November 25, 2018 to be with the Lord. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Carl Gephardt will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

He was a member of Civitans, Moose Lodge, and Scout Master for over 15 years. He was a member of the Good Shephard Lutheran Church for 22 years. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps.

He also worked 36 years for Burlington Northern Railroad as director of Marketing. Preceding Milton in death is his parents, Clayton Sage and Gladys Gassaway; sister, Florence Sutton; brother- in- law, Richard Sutton; brother, Jack Sage. Survivors are wife, Barbara Sage; sons, Michael Sage (Pegeen Oconnell) and Timothy Sage; brothers, Richard Sage (Oralia); sister, Beth Heifritz; aunt, Birdie Vanhyfte; sister-in-law’s, Diane Sage and Marcia McDowell (Gene); grandchildren, Scarlet Dabbs (Jeremy), Savanna Sage, Christian Sage (Staci Stephens), Jacob Sage, Sierrah Vandiver (Austin), and Sapphire Sage; great grandchildren, Calix Sage and Chase Vandiver.

Pallbearers will be Ken Kubitz, , Christian Sage, Jacob Sage, and Civitan Members. Milton was an avid traveler and golfer. He also won the Humanitarian Award in Franklin County.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 2001 Cloyd Blvd Florence, AL 35630.
