Obituary for Miss Anna McCall Mimms Anna McCall Mimms, 18, of 798 Grange Hermitage Court, Seneca, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. A native of Seneca, SC, Anna McCall was the daughter of Mary Mimms Wriston and Chuck Wriston and the late Daniel Paul Mimms. She was a 2017 graduate of Seneca High School, where she was a member of the competition cheer team and was a competitive dancer.

She was currently enrolled as a student at Clemson University, where she was a member of the Clemson Dancers and the Clemson University Tiger Strut Dance Team. Anna McCall was very passionate about teaching dance and impacted the lives of many young dancers at Clemson Elite Dance Center. She was a member of LifePoint Church in Seneca.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Anna McCall is survived by her sisters: Mary Grace Mimms, Ella Danielle Mimms, Brynn Lauren Wriston and Karis Brady Wriston; grandparents: Earle and Louise Mimms; step-grandparents: Noland and Joy Wriston; step-grandmother: Darlene Martin; aunts and uncles: Julia Grace Mimms, Louie and Judy Ott; step-uncles: Chris Wriston, Josh McBride, and Brandon Greer; step-aunt: Brittany Greer; and cousins: Lindsey and Jenna Ott. In addition to her father, Danny Mimms, Anna McCall was preceded in death by her grandparents: Louie and Sharon Ott; and uncle: Michael Watson Mimms. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2018, at NewSpring Church in Clemson, SC.

At the family’s request, the committal service will be private. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Friday, prior to the service, at NewSpring Church in Clemson, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oconee County Emergency Services, 216 Emergency Lane, Westminster, SC 29693.
