Mitchell’s Obituary Mitchell Allen Porter was born May 12, 1948 in Williamstown, KY and passed away May 19, 2019 in Butler, KY at the age of 71. He was the son of the the late Claude Mitchell Porter and Vivian May Marksberry Porter of Dry Ridge. Allen was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.

He was also a former employee for Johnson Controls in Florence and member of Crittenden Baptist Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by 2 daughters: Shelley Justice (Rick) of Falmouth and Debra Allen (Gary) of Falmouth; a sister: Sue Bates (Dan) of Dry Ridge; and four grandchildren: Tyler Justice, Brandon Crouch, Kenyon Allen and Kameron Allen. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.

Visitation will by 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the River Valley Nursing Home Activities Department.
