Mollie’s Obituary Mollie G. Stewart, 85, of Scottdale, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 at home and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born October 1, 1933 in Buchanan, a daughter of the late Charles and Velma (Garletts) Porterfield. Mollie was a faithful and very active member of Apostolic Holliness Church in Connellsville.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mollie enjoyed life to it’s fullness, especially being with her family on a daily basis. She was known for her baking, cooking, finding time to crochet and a kind word for everyone.

Mollie is survived by three sons; Les Stewart and wife Bonnie, Rob C. Stewart and wife Carol, all of Connellsville, and Mark Stewart and wife Ruth of South Connellsville, two daughters; Rose Pluck of Hooversville, Wendy Swank and husband Bill of Scottdale, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mollie was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Stewart (December 5, 2003). Three daughters; Kathy, Karen, and Susan Stewart, two brothers; Charles Porterfield, and Bil Snyder, three sisters; Rosella Nicklow, Catherine Bish, and Shirley Grant.

Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME 123 S. 1st St. West Side, Connellsville (724) 628-9033 on Wednesday from 6-8PM. Viewing will then be held on Thursday in the Apostolic Holiness Church 412 N. Pittsburgh St. Connellsville from 11AM-8PM, and Friday from 10-11AM the hour of service with Pastor Terry Upton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.

Auburn Cemetery.
