Whiting March 03, 1933 – March 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Montez Johnson Whiting, age 86, of Opp, Alabama died Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Mizell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Whiting is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry Norris & Teresa, Kenneth Norris & Phyllis and Todd Norris & Terri; brothers, Loris Johnson and Joey Johnson; and 4 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Whiting; parents, Nettie & Weeda Johnson; and brother, Edgar Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Monday, March 18, 2019 at Westview Baptist Church with Gary Miller officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Westview Baptist Church Building Fund.
