Monzella Brown of Stratford, Oklahoma was born March 7, 1942 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Collin and Sina (Frazier) Postoak. She passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years and 15 days. She has lived her entire life in the Stratford area.

On March 10, 1958 she married her husband Samuel Brown Jr She worked as a seamstress at Ds Trim shop in Ada. She loved being a wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother, and spending time with the grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.

Preceded by; her parents, Collin and Sina Postoak, husband, Samuel Brown Jr.; two sons, Alexander Jake Brown and Timothy Don Brown. Survived by; two daughters, Rachael Mae Brown, Sulphur, OK; Colleenia Kay Brown Oklahoma City, OK; four sons; Michael and Orlando Brown both of Stratford; Edwin Brown, Maud, OK. , Samuel Brown III, Del City, OK.

; six granddaughters, one grandson, and sixteen great grandchildren, Wake; will be Tuesday evening March 26, 2019 at DeArman/Pickard Funeral Home Stratford, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services; 2:00 PM Wednesday March 27, 2019 at DeArman/Pickard Chapel, Officiating Rev. Hazel Wallace.

Burial will be in Corley cemetery south of Stratford, Oklahoma on highway 177. Pallbearers; Patrick Smith, Marvin Kinnard, Bridley Kinnard, James Wallace, Aureleio Domigues, and Tom Gaines. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Monzella Brown please visit our Sympathy Store.
