Morris Dale “Too Tall” Jones, 68, a lifelong Rushville area resident, passed away March 11, 2019 in Indianapolis. Dale was born August 31, 1950 in Rushville to Harold E. & Lillian (Piercy) Jones. Dale was a 1968 graduate of Rushville High School and spent several years in the National Guard.

He married Betty Miller on August 15, 1981 and she survives. Dale retired in 2012 after 35 years as a route driver with Wonder Bread/Hostess. He had recently worked for Frito Lay.

Dale was twice Past Exalted Ruler of the Rushville Elks Lodge #1307 where he had been a member for 40+ years. He was also a member of NRA and the Muskrats of Rush County. In addition to his wife, Betty, of Rushville, he is survived by his mother, Lillian Jones of Rushville, his daughters, Morgan Jones of Muncie and Courtney (Casey Ray) Rusk of Noblesville, his sister, Marilyn Ann Barker of Greensburg and grandsons, Jackson Douglas & Tatum Ray Rusk.

Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Dena Vittorio presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 4-8 PM Friday evening, March 15 at the mortuary. The Rushville Elks Lodge will provide a service Friday evening.
