Moses David Fields, Sr. was born on October 16, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri to Moses D. Fields, II and Florence (Bloss) Pickett. Moses departed this life on April 24, 2018. Moses was a graduated of Central Senior High School Class of 1964.

He served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran, serving from 1964 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1967. He worked as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at Union Carbide. Moses had one son, Moses David Fields, Jr who is married to Jasmine Fields and he was excited about the arrival of his first grandchild in August 2018.

His greatest hobby was bowling. He bowled in a league and regularly bowled a 300. Fourteen months prior to departure he moved in with his son, Moses David Fields, Jr and daughter-in law-Jasmine Fields in Wichita, Kansas.

Funeral Service for Moses David Fields, Sr. will be held Saturday, April 28, 2:00 p.m. at the Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Private Disposition.
