Obituary for RUTH L FEINBERG Ruth Feinberg passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Overland Park, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd.

(Beth Torah Section). Ruth, who was born on August 5, 1922, was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. An enthusiastic fan of the movies, after she graduated from Central High School she went to Hollywood and worked at Columbia Pictures.

Upon her return to Kansas City, she married Morris Feinberg. She and Morris were members of Kehilath Israel Synagogue, as well as Meadowbrook Country Club. Ruth was devoted to her family.

She also loved all types of music, from Broadway show tunes to the swing music of her youth. Travel was yet another love and, after the kids were grown up, she and Morris traveled the globe. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Morris; her parents: Jacob and Eda Myer; and her brothers: Harold, Paul, and Irving.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Feinberg and Donna Feinberg of Overland Park and Linda Feinberg of Jerusalem as well as several dear nieces and nephews. The family requests no flowers and suggests a contribution made in Ruth’s memory to a charity of your choice instead. Upcoming Events Graveside 2018 APR 19.
