Obituary of Muriel Hunter Muriel May Hunter, 93, of Kingsville passed away peacefully Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Hospice Unit of the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born April 3, 1925 in Portsmouth, England the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Deuchar) Tipple. Muriel served in the British Air Force during WWII.

Muriel had a love for all creatures big and small, she loved animals. She enjoyed going to casinos. Muriel was a dedicated and hard-working woman all of her life not retiring until she was 70 years old.

Most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the “Rock” that held her family together in good times and bad. She will greatly be missed by all who knew her.

Muriel is survived by her children, Ralph (Katy) Bishop, Donna (Tim) Wood, Diane Hunter, Doris Harper, Arthur Hunter and Brian Hunter; sister, Anne Lee; special niece, Valerie Polke; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dennise Bishop; brother, Frank Tipple; and her parents. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Smith- Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut.

Inurnment will follow at LuLu Falls Cemetery in Kingsville. Friends may call from 11AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave.
