Murphy “Calvin” Joiner, Jr. October 02, 1953 – January 07, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Calvin passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at his home with his family by his side at the age of 65. He was a retired carpenter; long time resident of Plaquemine and native of Covington, La. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5 to 9pm and will resume on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 9am until to religious services at 1pm.

Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Robin Cazes Joiner; daughters, Chantell Favron and Sara Joiner; honorary daughter, Kaitlyn Delaune Jeansonne; grandchildren, Denae, Robert and Brennan Favron, Noah and Eli Roberts, and Able McCain; and sisters, Patricia King and husband John, Karen VanNorman and husband Robert and Staci Webb and husband Kyle. Preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Gloria Leonard Joiner; and brother, Ronald Joiner.
