Myrna Laugier, 69, beloved mother, treasured Aunt, cousin and friend of many, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 20th at her home in Illinois. She is survived by her daughter Dulcinea Hawksworth, son Douglas Hawksworth, granddaughters, Emma and Adahlia, grandson George, siblings Irma Bethelmy, and Leroy Laugier. She was proceded in death by her parents, and her sister Kim.

Myrna was a Teacher at Joliet West High School for several years where she impacted the lives of many students. She had a great love of music and literature, and was an avid gardener. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Blue Line Heroes Scholarship Foundation c/o 126 Infantry Drive, Joliet Illinois 60435, (a charitable non-profit organization that provides assistance canines and training for those in need) A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Friday May 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave.

, Shorewood, IL 60404.
