Obituary for William R. Harrigan William R. Harrigan “Bill” Age 78, died suddenly Friday May 4, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet on April 19, 1940, the son of William F. and Margaret (nee Ruettiger) Harrigan. Formerly employed as a Business Manager for the Chicago Ridge School District.

Preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Marilyn Carson and a step-son, Edward A. Gans. Survived by his loving wife, Doris J. (nee Robbins) Harrigan; three children, Charles (Jen) Harrigan, Margaret (Paul) Callaghan and Christopher (Milica Jovic) Harrigan. Two step-sons, William K. (Diane) Gans and Matthew J. (Beverly) Gans; one step-daughter-in-law, Marilyn (late, Edward A.) Gans; five grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Harrigan and Richard (Beth) Harrigan; one sister, Kathleen (Dean) Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.
