Obituary for Beverley A. Bersano Beverley A. Bersano (nee Jones) Age 70 years, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 20, 2018 while vacationing with her husband John in the Cayman Islands. Born on January 20, 1948 in Kitchener Ontario, Canada, she resided in Joliet/Shorewood for many years. She was a self-employed hairdresser and also employed by Joliet Public School District # 86 for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Aaron and Edna Marie (nee Oesch) Jones. Survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John J. Bersano; three children, Bradley Bersano, Edna Marie (Shane) Pucel and Stephanie (Kevin) Wallace; 4 grandchildren, John and Joseph Wallace, Danielle and Heather Bersano; two sisters, Donna Smrekar and Sandra (Larry) Delrose; three brothers, Mark Jones, Franklin Jones and Alexander (Jennifer) Jones; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary (Pete) Wall; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Beverley will be always remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and dear friend.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road Joliet on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 3 to 7:00 pm with services following at 7:00 pm. In accordance with Beverley’s wishes, cremation rites have been respectfully accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
