Ralph L. Annis Age 97, passed away Thursday May 3, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Joliet on June 6, 1920. Survived by his children Jeanne Annis of Joliet, Jim (Chris) Annis of Braidwood and Bill Annis of Es; sister-in-law Helen (Clare) Annis; grandchildren Rob (Dominique) Annis, Lori (Joe) Mack and Abby Weinshenker; great grandchildren, Owen Mack, Kailey Annis and Camden Annis.

Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Hamilton) Annis, daughter Nancy Annis; brother Clare (Helen) Annis and parents Ralph G. and Rose (Gensch) Annis. Ralph was a graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1938. W.W. II Army Veteran.

After WW II ended he worked on the rehabilitation of French, Belgian, German and Luxembourg communication equipment. Ralph retired from Illinois Bell Telephone. He was a member of the V.F.W. and Telephone Pioneers.

Funeral Services, Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
