Myrna Loudean Story Allen 83, of Laurel passed away on April 27, 2018 at Batesville, Indiana following a brief illness. She was born December 4, 1934 the daughter of Garner and Sophronia Fetty Story and they preceded her in death. On November 9, 1956 she married Edward Allen in Laurel, Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2009.

She was a Laurel High School graduate and had been employed as a clerk at Laurel package store for 15years. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 1130, Pocahontas Starlight Council of Batesville, Indiana, the Red Hat Society and a member of Laurel Town Board. She enjoyed going fishing; bird watching; animals, especially cats; going to bingo she attended St. Louis super Sunday bingo every year and going to the casino’s Survivors include her two daughters; Robin Phillips and her husband, Greg of Bloomington, Indiana and Christina Allen Hanna of Batesville, Indiana; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Allen ; her son Garner Allen on February 26, 2018, a granddaughter, Candace Allen-Peters and a her sister, Ethel Story Steele on April 13, 2018. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Miller Moster Robbins Funeral Home or anytime online at Millermosterrobbins.com. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday May 7, 2018 at Miller Moster Robbins Funeral Home.
