Obituary Service Details Margaret Louise Bromagen, 94, of Connersville, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, January 11, 2018, at Heritage House of Connersville where she had been a resident for the past two years. One of four children of Gilbert Theodore and Alma Sudler Howard, Louise was born in Franklin County, Indiana on May 22, 1923. Louise grew up in the Alquina, Indiana area and attended Alquina United Methodist Church.

She moved to Connersville with her family when she was in 7th grade. On April 12, 1941, Louise married Leo Bromagen in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Bromagen passed away in December of 1996.

During World War II, Louise worked at American Kitchens in Connersville. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Louise took pride in raising her family and cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She was a member of the home-ec club and in her leisure time enjoyed reading, dancing, and playing cards.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Matthews of Connersville; five grandchildren, Steven (Debby) Fitzgerald of Connersville, Eden (John) Murphy of Connersville, Trista (Tony) Abrams of Rushville, Jennifer (Bryan) Ronan of Connersville, and Rachel Bromagen of Indianapolis; two step-grandchildren, Lori (Steve) Flannery of Connersville and Jeff Matthews of Connersville; fifteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband of 55 years, Leo Bromagen, Louise is preceded in death by a son, David Howard Bromagen; two sisters, Catherine Dishinger and Helen Foreman; a brother, Max Howard; and a son-in-law, Kirk Matthews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Growing Branches for Christ, 3674 Western Avenue, Connersville, Indiana with Pastor Fuzzy Lakes officiating.

Burial will take place in Dale Cemetery at a later date. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences can be made anytime at millermosterrobbins.com.
