Garnet Faye Riebsomer, 81 of Connersville passed away Sunday evening, June 24, 2018, at her residence. A life-long resident of Connersville, she was born August 9, 1936, one of six children of Harold and Hazel Snodgrass White. For over 24 years, she was employed at Stant Manufacturing, retiring in 1994.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and working on puzzles. Survivors include four children, David (Mary) Riebsomer, Jeffrey Riebsomer, Teresa (J. C.) Smith and Tracy Riebsomer, all of Connersville; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Judy) White, of Connersville; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Riebsomer; a daughter, Shannon Riebsomer; a grandson, Joey Riebsomer; four sisters, Barbara Shanklin, Charlotte Stewart, Lois Reisert and Berdina Caldwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service and anytime at millermosterrobbins.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in remembrance of Garnet’s mother and her sisters to the Fayette County Cancer Society.
