Nancy Carol Chappell Parks December 19, 1931 – March 09, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book Mrs. Nancy Carol Chappell Parks, 87, passed away on March 9, 2019. She was born December 19, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late John MacKinley Chappell and Bertha Benton Chappell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, N.A. “Jr”.

Parks; daughter Libby Brown; son-in-law Terrrell Brown; brothers Wayne, Cecil, and Cloyce; sisters Refine and Vermelle. She was a member of Swaim’s Baptist Church. Mrs. Parks loved quilting and talking on the phone to all of her friends and relatives.

Surviving are her children, Debbie Billings (Bill), Tony Parks; grandchildren Keith Brown (Janice), Stephanie Billings (Tracy Coe), Bradley Billings (Autumn), Savannah Parks (fiancé Roman Gilliam), Hunter Parks; special great-granddaughter Saylor Billings; great-grandchildren Alvin, Amanda, Casey; 3 great great-grandchildren; sister Edwina Shore; a special friend Louise Chappell. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Swaim’s Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Groce, Rev.

Jerry Shelton, and Rev. Kenny Pardue officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Parks will lie-in-state from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM at the church. The family will receive friends, Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Mtn.

Valley Hospice and Yadkin Valley Home Health for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Parks. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Parks family. Online condolences may be made at www.
