Nancy’s Obituary Graveside service for Nancy Hewett, 79, of Lubbock, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Union Grove Cemetery in Wills Point with Pastor David Cartwright officiating. She passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. Nancy was born in Coleman, Texas, on August 31, 1939, to Harvie and Myrl Rankin.

Nancy grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and married Keith Hewett on August 23, 1958. She enjoyed being a mother and homemaker, always involved in organizing and helping with her family’s activities. She enjoyed her time as a school secretary in Clovis, NM, as well as being the church secretary at First United Methodist Church of Clovis.

Nancy and Keith enjoyed traveling across the United States in their travel trailer. Nancy loved spending time with her kids, grandsons and great-grandson, and was looking forward to welcoming her second great-grandbaby. Her spirit for life was shared with and enjoyed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvie B. and Frankie Myrl Rankin. Survivors include her husband, Keith D. Hewett; son, Carey D. Hewett and wife, Dianne; daughter, C. Pam Boone and spouse, Stacy K.; grandchildren, Adam Snell and wife, Holly, and Gregory Hewett and wife, Jenni; and great-grandchild, Elijah Snell. Family will receive friends at Allan Fuller Funeral Home one hour prior to service.
