Nancy Jo Ruby Horsley, 79, of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 23, 1938 in Portsmouth a daughter of Lena V. Turner Ruby of Portsmouth and the late Myrl Charles Ruby. Nancy was a retired U.S. Postal Service Manager based in Columbus and a 1956 Clay High School graduate.

She attended Carey’s Run Church of Christ and was a former member of the Rosemount Homemakers Club. In addition to her mother Lena, she is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. (Paul) Giacobbe of Dayton; a sister, Cathy Jungenberg of Oshkosh, WI; two granddaughters, Alexandra and Olivia Giacobbe: a niece, Beth, nephew, Greg, and their families. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with James Osborne officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
