Obituary for Nancy Lucas Guthrie Print Nancy Lucas Guthrie, 85, of Charleston was born Jan. 11, 1934 to the late William “Bill” and Mabel Lucas. She departed this life and went to be with Jesus on Jan.

26, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons, Scott and David, and husband, Marion. Left to cherish her memories are daughter Terri Heiner; son, Mark (Beth) and brothers, Bill and Ron Lucas.

She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Nancy was a member of Living Word Christian Center and most recently attended Elk River Church of the Nazarene, she was a faithful servant and loved Jesus with her whole heart. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, LouAnn and Mindy.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311. Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at Elk River Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Randy Ledsome officiating.

Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Visitation will be 11am to 1pm Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at Elk River Church of the Nazarene, 143 Dutch Road, Charleston.
