A private memorial service will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.

Nancy was born on November 21, 1953 to Santino Edward and Evelyn Wilmont (Long) Pipitone in Florissant, Missouri. She served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force and obtained the rank of Major. Nancy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery.

She worked for over 20 years as a child care provider for the Kings Kids daycare at First Baptist Church where she was known as “Ms. Nancy”. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school. She volunteered at McAlester Regional Health Care Center, and worked the front desk on Thursdays.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father: Santino Edward Pipitone on April 30, 1987. She is survived by her mother: Evelyn Pipitone of Michigan; sisters: Donna Hunter of Michigan, Marie Vandivort of North Carolina; sons: James Mordecai and wife, Chelsea of McAlester, Russell Mordecai and wife, Lexus of Stuart; grandchildren: Levi Benson, Landon Mordecai, and Brycelynn Morrison of Stuart; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
