Nancy M. Starcevich, 70, of Matherville, Ill. , passed away Sunday April 22, 2018 at UnityPoint-Trinity, Rock Island. In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.

Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family with arrangements. Nancy was born February 19, 1948 in Harper, Kansas, a daughter of Gordon and Madge Pedroja. She married John Starcevich on March 19, 1978 in Viola, Ill.

In addition to being a homemaker, Nancy was a waitress for many years. Surviving are her husband, John, of Matherville; children, Chancy Barnes, and his wife Bennie, Wiley, Texas, Wendi Anderson, Matherville, and Clint Barnes, Fairfield, Iowa; stepson, John Starcevich, and his wife Linda, Matherville; grandchildren, Hailey Versluys, and her husband Sean, Ashley, Carley, Lilley and Kinley Anderson, Clinton and Dylan Barnes, and Jessica Carlson, and her husband Travas; great-grandchild, Addison Versluys and one on the way; sisters, Betty Green and Patricia Cornwell, both of Wichita, Kan. ; and several nieces, nephews and additional family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Don and Ron Pedroja.
