Nancy Mae Angstadt Stohler, 87, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, January 7, 2019, with her children by her side at Hospice and Community Care in Lancaster County. She was married to William Lee Stohler for 63 years who predeceased her in 2012. Nancy was born to the late Ulysses and Anna Fisher Angstadt on September 20, 1931 in Elizabethtown.

She attended the former Mount Joy High School, and later worked for Donegal Industries of Mount Joy retiring after 27 years. She was a member of Trinity E.C. Church in Mount Joy. She is survived by the children she loved, son William Stohler, Jr. and his wife Elaine Damon, daughter Cheryl Zagurski and her husband Joseph, daughter Jane Stohler, and daughter Wendy Melsom and her husband John; her seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and four siblings; Ulysses Angstadt, Jr., John Angstadt, Jeanette Schmith, and Betty Wolgemuth, and a number of other loving relatives.

Nancy was predeceased by three other siblings; Jean Grona, June Winters, and Patricia Reeves. Her daughter Jane lovingly cared for Nancy in their York home during her last years of life. Nancy was known for her crafts, as well as her decorating talents recognized by the Mount Joy and Marietta Candlelight tours.

She loved her children and in turn was loved by them and everyone who knew her. One of her greatest accomplishments is the love and caring she gave her granddaughter Zoe. At Nancy’s request, there will be no memorial service.

For those who knew her, please remember the wonderful woman that she was.
