Clark E. Smith Sr., 80, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Grover and Catherine (Derr) Smith. Clark was the husband of Victoria (Brundzo) Smith with whom he celebrated 35 years of marriage this past December 23rd.

Clark proudly served six years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Mount Joy VFW Post 5752, Amvets Post 224 in Chambersburg, American Legion Post 223 in Shippensburg and the Marine Corps League in Chambersburg. He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot where he was employed for 30 years as a paint technician.

Clark was an active member of the former Chambersburg Cardinals Association, and coached little league baseball for sixteen years. He was an avid hunter and sports fan. He also loved cooking, vacationing in Myrtle Beach, and spending time with family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Victoria, are seven children, Clark E. Smith Jr. (Elizabeth) Chambersburg, Brian K. Smith (Patricia) of Mercersburg, Teresa K. Stahl of State Line, Wendy S. Smith of Bradenton, FL, Thomas E. NyeSmith (Pamela) of Elizabethtown, Shawn E. Smith of Chambersburg, and Shawn A. Smith-Brundzo of MN; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Dwight K. Smith (Linda) of Raystown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Smith. Services will be private.
