Obituary for Naomi Cuyler Naomi Lee (Nalley) Cuyler, age 80, our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister, passed away in her home in Climax on October 3, 2018 with her family by her side. Naomi was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on December 4, 1937. As a child, her family moved to Ferndale, Michigan and later moved to Livermore, Kentucky.

In 1946, her family settled in Climax, Michigan where she graduated from Climax High School in 1955. In 1956 Naomi married Gerald “Jerry” Cuyler and raised three daughters. Naomi started her real estate career in 1964 as a secretary and became a Real Estate Broker/Owner in 1977 until 1992.

Naomi loved to travel with Jerry and especially loved the western part of the United State. In addition to her husband, Naomi was preceded in death by her Father, Lee Nalley; Mother, Shirley (Taylor) Nalley and Daughter, Kim (Cuyler) Hayes. Naomi is survived by her sister, Netty (Nalley) Van Middlesworth of East Leroy; half brother, William “Billy” Taylor who lives in Kentucky; Daughter, Pamela (Cuyler) Madry of Climax and Daughter, Theresa (Cuyler) Lyon of Carrollton, Texas; Son-in-Laws Michael Hayes, Timothy Madry and Jeffrey Lyon.

Naomi has seven grandchildren and ten great grand children. Naomi was called “Ma” by her Grant Grandchildren. Naomi was a member of the Climax Methodist Church in Climax, Michigan where a service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 13th.

Visitation will start at 12:00 with her celebration service to start at 1:00 followed by a gathering for friends and family at the Methodist Educational Building. To send flowers to the family of Naomi Cuyler, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
