Naomi Mae Best Duggins, 95, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Columbus, Kansas on July 28, 1923 to the late Fred Best and Elizabeth Dusart Best. Naomi was a homemaker, a former member of St. Stephen Cathedral, and a past member of the Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Duggins, in 1980. Survivors include her son, Steve Duggins and his wife, Donna, of Simpsonville, SC; her daughter, Debby Bryant and her husband, Marvin, of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Amanda Williams, Ashley Garris, Marilee Forrest, and Noah Morgan; great-grandchildren, Jamie Williams, Penelope Garris, Paige Garris, Reed Forrest, Camden Forrest, and Noel Forrest. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A special thank you to the staff at Wellington Parc for their care of Naomi over the past eight years and to Hospice for the past year.

They were especially kind and enjoyed her wit and sense of humor.
