Obituary for Nathan Garcia Nathan Elias Garcia July 6, 1978-August 18, 2018 Nathan Elias Garcia, born July 6, 1978 in Snyder, TX, passed from this life at his Dallas home, August 18, 2018. He was forty years old. Nathan is preceded in death by his brother Duke Barnett.

He is survived by his daughter Bethany Hope Garcia of Tyler, TX; parents Vicky Barnett and husband Gary of Atlanta, TX and Ben Garcia of Nash, TX; brothers Eric Garcia and wife Ashley of Atlanta, TX, Adam Garcia and his wife Olivia of Texarkana, TX, Greg Barnett and wife Susan of Doddridge, AR, and Matt Barnett and wife Cory of Magnolia, AR; sisters Yvette Cantu and husband E.J. of Beeville, TX, and Lexi Garcia-Shankle and husband Joey of Atlanta, TX; and grandmother Opal Gardner of Atlanta, TX. Nathan was always ready for an adventure with friends from coast to coast. He was the kind, compassionate heart that would lend an ear, shoulder or shirt to another in need, was very funny and never met a stranger.

He loved art, music and movies and had a gift of contagious happiness. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Nathan will be cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at Queen City Funeral Home, Friday, August 31, 2018 beginning at 10:00AM and ending at 11:00AM. His cremains will be buried at Courtland Cemetery in Queen City, TX beside his grandparents. Digital condolences may be made in his honor at: www.
