Obituary for Charles Edward Johnson Charles Edward Johnson September 22, 1954 – June 4, 2018 Charles Edward Johnson, born September 22, 1954, passed from this life at Christus St Michael’s Medical facility in Atlanta TX, June 4, 2018. Charles was 63 years old and a resident of Linden TX. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Nellie Johnson; and sisters Margaret McDonald and Shirley Estell.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Collins and husband Ben of Atlanta TX; brothers Elmer Joe Johnson of Linden TX, Frederick Johnson and wife Evelyn of Lawrenceville GA, and King David Green of Dallas TX; sisters Charley Turner and husband Earnest of Texarkana TX, and Lena Glaspie of Dallas TX; three grandchildren; and Linda Williams of Atlanta TX, a special friend who took care of him during his illness. Charles was loved by his family and will be missed by those who knew him. Funeral services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home beginning with a funeral service held at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Linden TX, Saturday, June 9, 2018, beginning at 11:00 AM.
