Obituary for Almeda JoAnna Smith Almeda Joanna Smith August 19, 1929 – October 27, 2018 Almeda JoAnna Smith, 89 years of age, went home to the Lord October 27, 2018. JoAnna was born at home, August 19, 1929, in Doddridge AR to Morris Leonard and Ruby Wood. She was one of five children, two sisters: Lois Stanley and Belva Stanley of Doddridge AR, and two brothers; John and Morris Wood of Rodessa LA, all of whom preceded her in death.

JoAnna is survived by four children from her marriage with the late Royce Sullivan, a daughter Diana Martin of Bloomburg TX and three sons, Roger and wife Judy Sullivan of Smyrna TX, Larry and Etchel Sullivan, and Gary and Kitty Sullivan of Doddridge AR. Her loving memory will be remembered by her 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

JoAnna loved to read her bible, listen to gospel singing, and sewing quilts. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and growing flowers. A visitation in her honor will begin at 12:30 PM at Queen City Funeral Home, Sunday, October 28, 2018.
