Obituary for Jimmie Lee Wheaton Jimmie Lee Wheaton January 02, 1936 – October 15, 2018 Jimmie Lee Wheaton of Douglassville TX, passed from this life, October 15, 2018 at her home. She was 82 years old. Jimmie is preceded in death by her husband Danny Wheaton; parents Clarence and Lilla Waters; son Roger Dale Allen; daughter Maria Coats; brothers Clarence, Thomas, and Harley Waters; and sister Modine Treadway.

She is survived by her sons Robert Lewis Allen and wife Jerry, Billy Ray Wheaton, and Jerry Neal Allen and wife Tina; daughters Juan Shanelle Houze and husband Jeremy, and Codi Lee Jones; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Jimmie was born and raised in Atlanta, TX. She was married to her husband Danny for 49 years.

The couple traveled together all over the country. She was a retired janitor for the Atlanta Independent School District. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning her home, doing yardwork, camping and fishing.

Mrs. Wheaton’s family would like to give a special thanks to CIMA Hospice, especially Stefanie CNA, Angie RN, and Brittney RN, all who had taken care of Mrs. Wheaton. Services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held in Jimmie’s honor, Friday, October 19, 2018, at Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City, TX from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Queen City Funeral Home beginning at 10 AM. Committal services will follow immediately at Laws Chapel Cemetery in Atlanta, TX. Digital condolences may be made at www.
