Obituary for Nathaniel “Nate” Mullins Nathaniel “Nate” Lee Mullins, 22, of Clintwood, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Bridgeport, West Virginia. He was born January 14, 1996. He was a 2014 graduate of Clintwood High School and a member of the 2011 State Championship football team.

He was employed by Higlands Drilling LLC. He was the son of Vicky Mullins (Wayne Neece) of Clintwood, Virginia and Tim Mullins of Johnson City, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Phillip “Lee” Mullins, great grandmother, Lexi Cassada, and Uncle Bradley Allen Stanley of Clintwood, Virginia.

Survivors Include: Sisters: Carissa Cox (Charlie Cox) of Inman, South Carolina and Alysa Stanley Brother: Devin Stanley One Special Nephew: Hunter Lee Cox of Inman, South Carolina Maternal Grandparents: Sharlene Salyer and Freddie (Whelma) Stanley Paternal Grandparents: Dorothy Mullins Host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins The family will receive friends Monday, June 4, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Clintwood Elementary School, Clintwood, Virginia with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Gary Maggard and Kelly Fleming will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at Mullins Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. to proceed to The Mullins Cemetery, The Lake Road, Clintwood, Virginia for graveside services. Burial will follow.

Pallbearers will be Blake Sloce, Braxton Powers, Austin Turner, Devin Stanley, Devin Wright, Taylor Culbertson, Austin Dotson, Robbie Mullins, Jacob York, Logan Collins, Gavan Meade, Mikey Mullins, Kody Wagner, and Ethan Mullins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Cox, Chris Hinely, Gaven Neece, Warren Stanley, Michael Stanley, Scott Stanley, Kenny Mullins, Jeff Mabe, Matt Lyall, Matthew Mullins, and Ronald Stanley. Dinner will be provided by Valley View Church after the graveside services on Tuesday.
