Obituary for Nicholas “Nicky” Bohr Jr. Nicholas J. Bohr Jr., 37, of Eastlake, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at his residence. Born Oct.

10, 1980, in Euclid, he had been a lifetime Lake County resident. As a young boy, Nicky started playing soccer and continued to play all the way through high school. Nicky was also a big NASCAR fan.

He loved being outdoors – camping, hunting and most of all fishing. His favorite place to fish was on the French River with his father. Music was another passion of his.

Nicky’s favorite band was the Dave Mathews Band, but had an appreciation for music of all kinds. He learned to play the guitar and really loved playing by the campfire. He was the beloved son of Nicholas J. (Sharon) Bohr Sr.; nephew of Karl and Linda Bohr, Chris and Patricia Peters; and cousin of Heather (PJ) Rivera, Karl Jr. (Cheryl), Tom (Jessica), Sara Pape, Carolyn and Michelle Peters.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine (nee Sutherin) Bohr. Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
