On June 22, 2018 Nona Ellen Kirby returned to our Heavenly Father. Nona was born in Pomona California on November 17, 1928. Nona was a wife and mother to six children.

Nona married Harry Cooper Kirby on December 28, 1946 in Las Vegas. Nona and Harry moved to McKinleyville California in 1962 where they built a mobile home park and lived for the next fifty years. Nona was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and volunteered in their Relief Society.

Nona later earned her LVN license and occasionally took employment as a care giver. She enjoyed their vacation home in Trinity Lake where she and Harry spent much time boating and fishing. Nona was preceded in death by her son Lynn Cooper Kirby in 1957, her grandson Harry Kirby III on July 23, 2010 and her husband Harry Kirby on December 27, 2011.

Nona leaves behind three daughters and two sons: Kathleen Gilman, Loretta Kleinman, Karen Mitchell, Harry Kirby Jr. and Dennis Kirby, Nona also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom will be loved and missed in our hearts forever.
